Eligibility Guidelines
The Compassionate Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to Delaware residents who are diagnosed with a life limiting illness, who live at or below poverty level,
and are actively engaged in curative treatment for
their advanced serious medical condition.
This is a “one-time” gift. Grants are paid directly to creditors on individual’s behalf or given as a gift card.
- Physician or Social Worker Referral/Rx
- Poverty Level Verification
- Provide a current bill/statement
Ways we may be able to help
$1,250 Payment one-time rent/mortgage
$400 Payment max. each electric/gas/water/trash/phone
$500 BOB's Gift Card to help with cost of recliner/mattress
$25/$50/$100 VISA or WAWA Gift Card people food & pet food
Unfortunately we cannot help with insurance, medications or car payments at this time - we are planning to include those options as we continue to grow.
Compassionate Foundation of Delaware
Entire annual household income must be 100% or less or have extenuating circumstances to qualify for assistance.
